Living tradition, not a display case
Here you will find early music recovered with rigour, the ethnomusicological research that underpins each repertoire, and traditions that reinvent themselves on stage every night. What interests us is heritage that still sounds: popular songbooks, Afro roots, cumbia, instruments almost nobody plays any more.
We defend these projects with the same care as any other: context, narrative and circuit. Culture is not preserved by storing it away, it is preserved by programming it — in Logroño, in Sardinia, in Warsaw or in Bogotá — and by sharing what you learn with whoever comes next.
